We have to keep in mind that what we’re seeing unfold is the Great Decentering. The period between 2026 and 2032 will mark an extraordinary astrological convergence of three major outer planetary cycles coming together, signaling not just change, but a collective revolutionary awakening, which we’ve discussed over the past several months. It also points to a profound redefinition of what it means to be human—what we are, who we are, and what we are becoming.

Historically, this kind of convergence precedes what we might call a new Copernican revolution: a systemic decentering of humanity’s place in the cosmos, accompanied by new technologies, new cosmologies, new worldviews, and new ontological shocks that result in a radical expansion of knowledge. These upcoming astrological alignments are not isolated events, but interconnected forces shaping a new era.

The Three Cycles Driving the Shift

These are the three cycles:

  1. First, the Uranus-Neptune cycle from 2026 to 2032, where technology meets consciousness.
  2. Second, Pluto in Aquarius from 2023 to 2044, where we see systemic revolutions in science, the arts, the humanities, politics, technology, and more.
  3. Third, the longer Neptune-Pluto sextile that has been operative since the mid-1940s and will remain active through the early 2030s, correlating with larger, titanic shifts in human and collective consciousness.

Let’s take a closer look at them and examine the exact breakthrough window.

The Uranus-Neptune Sextile: The Engine of Revelation

The first pass occurs on July 15, 2026, with Uranus at four degrees Gemini and Neptune at four degrees Aries. The second pass occurs on January 15, 2027, at one degree Gemini and one degree Aries. The third pass takes place on April 17, 2027, at six degrees Gemini and six degrees Aries.

What does that mean? When we look at the Uranus-Neptune sextile, it correlates with what I call the engine of revelation. The first pillar of this convergence is the Uranus-Neptune cycle, where the Promethean fire meets the imaginal realm. Uranus brings radical technology, sudden shocks, awakenings, and the Promethean fire of innovation. Neptune represents the collective psyche, mysticism, and the invisible web of meaning that connects us all.

To understand this, we have to look back at the conjunction that occurred from 1990 to 1993. That period served as the seeding phase for the sextile period that will unfold next year and continue through 2032.

The conjunction from 1990 to 1993 fused these energies. It marked the seeding of the World Wide Web, the collapse of the USSR, and the political disintegration of the Soviet Empire. We also saw the first major UFO disclosure initiatives and the emergence of neural network deep-learning systems. The first generation of these systems appeared during that period.

Today, all large language transformer models are based on neural network deep-learning systems. So the seeding moment of AI occurred during that period, and all of these developments expressed a single archetypal theme: global connectivity and hidden truths coming to light.

The sextile offers the developmental threshold for these seeds to fully incarnate. The opportunity lies in the convergence of advanced technology with the collective unconscious, leaning toward the confirmation of non-human intelligence and a multidimensional reality.

Pluto in Aquarius and the Pattern of Historical Revolutions

When you factor in Pluto in Aquarius, Pluto plays a very significant role. We may have the Uranus-Neptune sextile, but we also have the larger Uranus-Pluto trine, with Pluto moving through Aquarius.

Historically, Pluto in Aquarius always correlates with systemic revolutions. If we go back several hundred years, we can see the resulting identity shifts and transformations.

From 1453 to 1477, when Pluto was in Aquarius, we had the Gutenberg press, the precursors to the Reformation and Scientific Revolution, and the Renaissance. We saw the decentering of authority and the beginning of the decentralization of the Catholic Church. Prior to the Reformation, Christendom across Europe, North Africa, parts of the Middle East, and Turkey existed under the umbrella of the Catholic Church.

We saw a decentralization of authority. Religious dogma yielded to empirical, human-centered knowledge. Universities emerged, feudalism began to collapse, and what we would eventually call capitalism started to emerge, along with banking systems and other institutions.

Then, from 1777 to 1799, when Pluto entered Aquarius again, we experienced the Enlightenment, the American Revolution, the French Revolution, and major scientific revolutions. This was another decentering of hierarchy and the rise of the citizen who challenged inherited monarchy and royal authority.

Since the collapse of the Roman Empire, royalty had occupied the center of power. The feudal model, or at least its last vestiges, largely collapsed during this period. We saw the decentering of hierarchy.

The AI Revolution and the Decentering of Consciousness

Now, from 2023 to 2044, we have the AI revolution and the revelation of UFOs and non-human intelligence. We are likely to see a decentering of consciousness itself—a transition away from materialistic authority toward understanding ourselves as one form of consciousness within a multidimensional ecology.

This iteration challenges materialistic science and forces us to reconsider what consciousness is and what constitutes reality.

What we see are profound shifts and cosmic alignments—periods when significant celestial bodies align and trigger societal reordering, a restructuring of societal norms, institutions, and power dynamics. We also see the emergence of new worldviews, new ways of thinking, and new understandings of the universe and humanity’s place within it.

At the same time, we witness a redefinition of humanity itself and what it means to be human.

This becomes an even greater issue as AI becomes increasingly integrated with our biology. We’re already seeing the early stages of that with AI-enabled glasses and other wearable technologies. In a sense, we’re already doing it with our smartphones, keeping them close to us throughout the day and even beside our beds at night.

But we’re going to see much deeper integration of AI technology—not just through smartphones, but through technologies that become increasingly integrated with human life itself, shifting and changing the way we do things.

The Five Great Decentering Events in Human History

If you look at the five great decentering periods, you can see a recurring pattern: each one fundamentally changed humanity’s understanding of its place in reality.

1. The Copernican Decentering (1543)

The first was the Copernican Decentering in 1543. Copernicus demonstrated that the sun, not the Earth, is the center of the solar system. We moved from a geocentric model to a heliocentric model and realized that we are not the center of the universe.

2. The Darwinian Decentering (1859)

Then came Darwin in 1859. Through the theory of evolution by natural selection, he demonstrated our biological continuity with other life forms. He challenged human exceptionalism and the idea that we are separate from the animal kingdom.

Religion often teaches that humanity was created separately and occupies a unique place above all other life. Darwin’s work challenged that notion by showing that we are not separate from the animal kingdom.

3. The Jungian Decentering (Early 20th Century)

Then, in the early twentieth century, Jung contributed another great decentering by arguing that the ego is not the core of the psyche and that much of our psychology is governed by the collective unconscious.

4. The Hubble Decentering (1920s)

Next came Hubble in the 1920s. His observations proved the existence of galaxies beyond our own Milky Way. Before that, many believed the Milky Way was the entire universe and contained all the stars that existed.

Hubble showed that the universe is expanding, vastly increasing our understanding of its scale. Our galaxy turned out to be only one among trillions. Current estimates suggest there may be around 312 trillion galaxies, and that number continues to rise as new AI systems analyze incoming data.

5. The Intelligence Decentering (2026-2032)

This brings us to the fifth great decentering.

Unlike previous decenterings, which challenged humanity’s place in the physical cosmos, the biological hierarchy, or psychological autonomy, the 2026-2032 shift focuses on intelligence itself and our place among other forms of intelligence.

The emerging understanding suggests that non-human intelligence may exist on our own planet, perhaps indigenous to Earth, or may manifest through technological and informational systems. Either possibility forces us to reevaluate our position as the sole dominant intelligent species on the planet.

What Makes the Fifth Decentering Unique

When you look at the first four great decentering events, a clear pattern emerges. Each one forced humanity to abandon a deeply held assumption about its place in reality.

Copernicus showed that Earth was not the center of the cosmos. Darwin demonstrated that humanity was not separate from the rest of life. Jung revealed that the conscious ego was not fully in control of the psyche. Hubble showed that our galaxy was not the entirety of the universe.

Each discovery expanded our understanding of reality while simultaneously reducing humanity’s sense of centrality.

What makes this fifth decentering unique is that it doesn’t simply challenge our place in the cosmos, our biological origins, or our understanding of the psyche. It challenges our assumption that humanity is the sole dominant intelligence.

For the first time, we may be confronted with evidence that intelligence exists beyond the traditional boundaries through non-human intelligences, multidimensional realities, or even technological systems that increasingly mirror aspects of consciousness itself.

The result is a profound shift in perspective. Humanity would no longer see itself as occupying a singular position at the center of intelligence, but rather as one participant within a much larger ecology of consciousness and awareness.

That possibility carries enormous implications for science, religion, philosophy, and our understanding of reality itself.
