Now, I’m not going to make a locked-in prediction because we need to wait a little longer, but I wanted to lay this out for you.
And we have to factor in, of course, the Saturn-Neptune factor in the midterm election. So what’s the tension? The tension right now is economic pressure, economic disillusionment, social disillusionment, cultural disillusionment, Facebook disillusionment, YouTube disillusionment, and expectations of relief as we approach an electoral decision.
Again, the tension is material constraints, affordability issues, debt, insecurity, accountability, and the consequences of governing. Is the government really going to do what it says it’s going to do? The Neptune factor is the hope, the dream, the political promises. Neptune rules socialism, progressive socialism, and that would be the DSA, identification with a cause, uncertainty, disappointment, and the erosion of confidence.
So the interaction is the encounter between what people were promised and what they believe their circumstances have become.
How Economic Disillusionment Could Shape the Vote
So for an economically distressed electorate, how does that encounter manifest in the polls? Rejection of the governing party, renewed faith in its promises, or distrust of the opposition, right? “I don’t really have much faith in my party or the party that I elected two years ago, but I have distrust of the opposition because I’m not going to vote for a socialist,” right? Or withdrawal from participation.
So Saturn-Neptune could be like, “You know what? I don’t want to vote for a socialist, but I’m not going to vote for the Republican nominee in my district,” or, “I lost faith in Trump, and now I’m going to take it out on everybody and just stay home.” That’s just defaulting, dropping out, copping out. So withdrawal from participation is another Saturn-Neptune factor.
Who Has the Momentum Heading Toward Election Day?
Now, I did a horary: Democrats versus Republicans. And this was not, “Who’s going to win?” It was, “Who has the momentum?” That is the question.

So I’m not going to go into the minutiae of all of this. I’m going to give you a general analysis. But this is the moment I asked the question this morning. We know the bellwether counties, we know the bellwether states, and we know the most important states. Between now and Election Day, where are voters moving?
Are they moving toward the Democrats? Are they shifting? Are they deciding, “You know what? I’m going Democratic. You know what? I’m embracing the DSA”? Or are they deciding to go the other way? “You know what? I’m not happy with anything, but I’m going to vote GOP.”
So we don’t know. And is it going to be a referendum on Trump? That’s what the horary was also implying.
Why the Democratic Advantage May Face a Late Test
So here’s the answer. The midterm undercurrent: why the Democratic advantage may face a late test. A mundane horary assessment suggests Republicans have an opening to narrow the Democratic leads.
All those Democratic leads I just showed you—where the projections show Democrats today are likely to win almost all those House races and nearly all those Senate races—the Republicans have an opening to narrow that Democratic lead. This is an astrological judgment about voter movement, not a prediction of a Republican sweep.
The Horary Points to Growing Republican Receptivity
So, the horary testimony: the Moon in Sagittarius applies to a trine with Jupiter. Jupiter is the universal ruler of the Republican Party, so it’s a Republican significator. Voters show increasing receptivity to Republican candidates.
That doesn’t mean that’s happening today. It means that as we move toward Election Day, people who haven’t made up their minds, people who are not ideologues, people who are not Trump haters, people who are just sort of in the middle and confused, are moving more toward Republican candidates. They will move, have moved, or will move toward the Republican candidates.
The Moon then squares the Sun in the horary. So it’s in Sagittarius, and it squares the Sun. Republican congressional support can coexist with presidential frustration. The Sun represents Trump.
So it’s like, they’re frustrated with Trump. They’re frustrated that maybe he hasn’t completed the war, ended the war, put the lights out for Iran, ended this and moved on. And they’re frustrated with him for all different reasons. He should have, could have, would have done it, and he didn’t. They’re frustrated, but they’re not at a point where they want to vote for the Democratic candidate.
So they’re not necessarily motivated. They’re just saying, “Hey, you know what? I’m going to have to put the Trump issue aside for the moment. We’ll put that on the table. I’m just going to look at the candidates in front of me, and when I do, there’s no way I can vote for this Democrat.”
So that’s what the horary is saying.
Democratic Candidates Could Face Greater Scrutiny
And then Mercury, which rules the press, opposes Saturn before a sextile with Jupiter. So Democratic positions will face pressure, then a Republican opening.
What will happen is we’ll find out more information about many of these DSA candidates, like El-Sayed and others, and other leading candidates in the House races. We’re going to find out things that many voters are going to find disturbing, or things they don’t feel are very American or represent the Democratic Party.
They’re like, “You know, I’m a Democrat, but guess what? I’m not voting for that guy. He’s a socialist, and I’m not into socialism.” So it could be that type of response, and that will give the Republicans an opening.
The other thing, too, is the Democrats are creating a sense of amnesia about what happened from 2021 through 2025. From 2021 to 2025, Biden and the Democrats dominated. So they’re trying to keep quiet on that, and that will be the moment Republicans will expose them.
Will it be effective enough to stop or slow down the wave? That is the big question. But it’s showing that momentum will shift.
What to Watch in the Closing Weeks
So what do we watch for? A possible narrowing of the Democratic leads in closely contested races, greater resilience among Republican candidates than initial polling implies, divergence between presidential approval and congressional voting intentions, selective voting, split tickets, or reluctant support rather than renewed enthusiasm.
So for households struggling with food, housing, energy, and debt, the closing campaign becomes a test of credibility, not just preference. We’re going to watch for tighter races. These races are going to get very, very, very tight.
Ten Key Races Could Reveal the Larger Midterm Pattern
So these are the 10 races I’m looking at. I’m not looking at all the races. I’m going to do 10 horaries, one on each of these races. Then I’ll do another set of horaries 30 days from now, so mid-October.

By mid-October, over 80% of voters have already made up their minds, so we’re going to have a good idea of who’s winning.
Here are the current projections. Now, this would certainly be a great night for Democrats, but this is my current projection. If you put a gun to my head and said, “Who’s going to win Texas?” it looks like James Talarico. It looks like he’s going to win, and that would be big history. That would be a political earthquake if Texas goes blue.
And if Ohio flips blue as well, that would be like a political earthquake or tsunami. If you see these top three states, Texas, Ohio, and Michigan, go Democrat, you know it’s not going to be a Blue Dog Democrat getting the nomination in 2028. It’s going to be AOC or someone even more radical than her getting the Democratic nomination in 2028.
So that’s the other thing, the other reason I’m looking at these three states. But I’m going to look at all of them.
Blue Wave, Red Wave, or Something Smaller?
And then, based on the composite scoring, we’ll be able to assess: is it going to be a blue wave, a red wave, a blue trickle, or a red trickle? That’s the way we’re going to divide it into one of those four scenarios.
