On December 21, 2020, Jupiter and Saturn formed a rare conjunction—an astronomical event not witnessed at this degree of closeness since the year 1226. For the first time in nearly 800 years, people across the globe had the opportunity to observe this powerful alignment with the naked eye.

This conjunction not only initiated a new 20-year Jupiter-Saturn synodic cycle—one that has historically coincided with significant turning points in world history—it also marked the beginning of a 200-year era of Air sign conjunctions. This shift signaled the start of a new epoch focused on innovation, technology, and the transformation of global systems.

This blog presents a series of predictions (made in 2020) for the 20-year period spanning 2020 to 2040, based on this powerful alignment and its broader astrological implications.

Now, in 2025, the first signs of this shift are beginning to emerge.

Self-Driving Cars

You’re going to see self-driving cars. I know it’s already out now, but this is where it really takes off—self-driving cars, autonomous vehicles, connected with the Internet of Things. Self-driving cars, driverless cars, robot cars, robotic cars—they’re going to soon take over.

Uber is not going to have a human driver. You’ll have to pay a premium to get a physical human to drive for Uber or Lyft.

Waymo Self-Driving Car

Flying Cars

The other thing, too, is the flying car. Now, all of these companies—the top 20 companies—are in a race to come out with the Model T Ford version of the flying car.

They’re investing billions of dollars, not millions, because the commercial market is going to be the first one to use these flying vehicles. Essentially, there’s going to be a fleet of flying taxis trying to beat traffic.

So this is all coming. I suspect we’re going to see the first flying car, or the first fleet of flying cars, between now and 2025.

3D Printing

We’re also going to see 3D printing. I’m sure you’re aware of 3D printing, also called additive manufacturing. Additive manufacturing is a process of making three-dimensional solid objects from a digital file. Remember, manufacturing is ruled by Jupiter-Saturn.

The 3D creation of a printed object is where you have the design of that object, there’s an additive process—an object is created by layering down successive layers of material until the object is created through a laser. Each of these lasered layers can be seen as thinly sliced cross-sections of the object.

We’re even seeing now the construction of homes using 3D printing. 3D printing is going to take over everything.

4D Printing

And now we’ve got 4D printing. 4D printing is the same concept as 3D printing—using computer-programmed deposition of material in successive layers to create a 3D object.

But 4D printing, also known as bioprinting, adds the dimension of transformation over time. It is, therefore, a type of programmable matter where, after the fabrication process, the product can react to parameters within the environment, like humidity, temperature, and electrical charge.

The matter is programmable, where it already knows—it already has a set of instructions—if I get this stimulus, I will do X, Y, and Z. A certain program, a certain reaction, will occur.

Transhumanism

Transhumanism—we’re going to see that word become mainstream. Transhumanism is part of the transformation that comes with the Fourth Industrial Revolution. As artificial intelligence surpasses even the best human performance at specific tasks, the new technologies will not stop at becoming part of the physical world around us. They will become part of us.

We’re going to begin slowly merging with the machines at all different levels. We’re doing that right now—sitting in front of our computers, holding our phones near us, making decisions, texting. We’re already tied into this system.

Home Robots and Automation

Just like we have the home PC—that’s all coming with home robots. And one day, a robot will likely show up at your door unannounced, delivering a product or service—repairing the refrigerator or the air conditioner. You’re going to see this happen.

Autonomous servicing robots will also take over restaurants and other entry-level jobs. The inevitable automation of the food industry will displace millions of minimum-wage jobs.

Medical Disruption

Goodbye hospitals, hello “home-spitals.” Biology is going to be eaten by robots and genetics as we evolve deeper into the networked Internet of Things age. By 2030, the very nature of disease will be further disrupted by technology—so disrupted, in fact, that we might have far fewer diseases to manage.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution will ensure that humans live longer, healthier lives—so much so that the hospitals of the future will become more like NASCAR pit stops than inescapable black holes.

You realize that 16% of all people who die, die due to medical malpractice in a hospital—misdiagnosis and negligence. So we will see massive transformations in this field—some hospital practices will even go away completely. The need for hospitalization will, over time, eventually disappear.

Medical Scanning and Nano Devices

A single scanning device will offer metabolic, functional, and structural detail, combining the physics of spectroscopy, magnetic resonance, radiation—all of this. That means with one scan, no biopsy, they’ll be able to determine everything about you.

And then you’ll have a nano device. They’ll say, “Please drink this liquid,” and inside this liquid will be a monitoring device.

So first, there’ll be wearable patient monitoring devices, and then nano devices that they’ll inject into you. It’ll stay in your body for a time, and this monitoring device will continuously feed data to the Internet of Things.

It will basically be micro-sampling every part of your body—what’s happening with you in real time.

Custom Pharmaceuticals at Home

And so instead of doctors considering what medication a patient should take, and then nurses or pharmacists administering that pharmaceutical, your mobile device or your nano device will receive the necessary information to print a menu of custom pharmaceuticals and probiotics on demand—from your own living room or kitchen. And all of this will happen within minutes.

In other words, it’s proactive medicine.

Organ Printing

So, the days of patients dying while they wait for organ donors will be over. Tissues and supporting structures like bones and ligaments will be biologically 4D printed on demand. This is already here—they can already do it now.

They’re growing human bladders, they’re growing livers. Eventually, they’re going to grow a brain. That’s probably a bit far off—it’s probably not going to happen between now and 2040—but it’s possible by 2060.

Space Tourism

And the other thing I see coming very soon is space tourism. There’s an emerging industry—thought only to be science fiction. So space tourism is human space travel for recreational purposes, and there’s a number of different types: orbital, suborbital, lunar space tourism.

These companies are real companies. They’re doing real things.

What happened is—Obama cut the funding for the space shuttle and U.S. manned space program. As a result, we don’t have any way to get men in space. So now these companies, like SpaceX—not only are they getting NASA back into space—but also, space tourism is included in that.

So these companies are like, “Wait, listen, we can get money from NASA, from the government, to put heavy lifts up there—to build another space station, to build a facility on Mars, on the moon, to build a discovery that could go to Jupiter. We could do that—but in order to make it purposeful from a profit incentive, we need to have recreational outcomes for the commercial sector.”

So space tourism is going to become really, really big. And there’s a lot of companies competing neck and neck to be the leaders in this emerging market.

Work from Home Revolution

The shift to work from home—there’s no going back after COVID. Everyone thinks, “Oh, you know, I’m going to go back to my office and meet with clients.” No. Never again. “I’m going to teach in a classroom”—never going to happen. “Oh, I’m going to work in my office and commute two hours”—never going to happen.

So with the shift to work from home, along with the rise of associated technologies, companies will question—they’re already questioning it now—the need for expansive commercial offices to impress people. That’s all ending.

The traditional office environment—office assistant, office associates and others who were relied on for more mundane tasks—are being eliminated. They won’t make it till 2030.

Hypersonic Aviation

We’re going to see hypersonic aviation. Hypersonic flight is where you go 90 kilometers a second—above Mach 5—where dissociation of air begins to become significant, and high heat exists.

So this is an airliner that Boeing is working on right now. It’ll move so fast you could get from New York to Tokyo in less than an hour. You could make daily commutes from London to New York in 20 to 30 minutes.

You know, it may take a little longer because you still have to land the plane and disembark, but you get my point. This technology already exists—they’re perfecting it. So we’re talking about planes that go faster than 3,000 miles per hour.

So that’s all coming. That’s going to replace everything.
